Living in a complex information space requires certain skills of efficiency, mastering the best tools from the European experience. Thanks to the integration process of Ukraine, knowledge of the basics of EU media policy becomes even more relevant, we must understand the common, value-oriented media context. The issue of mass media has been relevant in Ukraine for a long time. Ways of generating ideas, principles and methods of media content processing, life cycle of media messages and others are actively researched theoretically and empirically. In the countries of the European Union, which have a higher quality of life, they are gradually moving away from pragmatic priorities in the media, and communication innovations are put forward in advance – those that meet social demands and are important not only for the owner but for society as a whole. This experience is very important for the development of the Ukrainian media space. Therefore, this training is designed to generalize, systematize and disseminate European practice of media policy in Ukraine.

The training is conducted by Prof. Andriy Chuzhikov, member of the Jean Monnet Department project team “Social and Cultural Aspects of European Studies” (SCAES) – 620635-EPP-1-2020-1-EN-EPPJMO-CHAIR
